So... I am at The Pit on Saturday hanging out as usual. I am going around talking to everyone as usual. There was this one chick who was a friend of a friend who I talked to a while. After a bit, I am talking with someone else and see that the chick is getting hit on by a drunk guy. I stay out of it until she gives me the whole "eye roll" and I state that maybe the whole group should go outside to smoke.
We all go outside and the drunk guy follows. I decide to take up my position beside the chick to hopefully help ward off this guys attempts to drunken flirt. She finally gets tired out it and decides to introduce me as HER FATHER!!! And the guy believes it.
WHAT THE HELL??? This chick was about 21. I hope that there was no way that I look like I could have fathered a 21 year old. I attempted to recover and still have a good weekend, but this whole incident has still crept bank into my mind.
Don't get me wrong... I absolutely see the humor in the situation and can laugh at it. I wouldn't be blogging about it if I didn't think it is a little funny. But still... her father??? Couldn't she have come up with something better? Brother, boyfriend, mentally challenged cousin, protective gay uncle... any of these would have been better.
