Pray for Taylor

Hey all, some of you may remember the bulletin i posted for Taylor a few days ago. I just wanted to let ya all know what is going on now. They have put her into a medical induced coma because the pain was just too much for her. She is still on the ventilator but they want to start turning it down slowly to try to get the hole in her lung to close on its own. Her dad put up a page for her with updates everyday on myspace. the link is http://www.myspace.com/taylor_hittlet if anyone is interested in any of the updates. If not that's ok but could you say at least one prayer for her. Any thing helps. Thanks Remember she is only 4 years old and we all know that something like this would be bad for anyone but think how it is on a 4 year old little girl!!!!

Please HELP

hey everyone just want all of my friends to help out with a little prayer for my friends daughter. she was in Champaign in a critical care unit and the doctors ran all types of tests to see what was wrong. She has limited movement in her arms and almost no movement in either leg. They can't even straighten her leg out on the bed or she just screams to no end. They just air lifted her to Chicago to perform emergency open heart surgery with only about a 20% chance of pulling through this. For those of you that know me may know i am not a real religious person but this is one of me best friends and also a firefighter brother. Please pray for this girl and maybe she will pull through all this. Her name is Taylor and she is only 4 years old.. Thanks for your time!!!!

A HERO'S CHOICE

A choice is a decision that we have the option to make, but a hero's choice is a decision that's made for another's sake. They became firefighters not for the pay or uniform and knew what they might have to face in the duties they'd perform. And on September 11th, two-thousand and one, though their worst fears came true, they did what had to be done. In the chaos and terror and rush of the mob, headfirst they proceeded to accomplish their job. Through air thick with flame, they felt the vibration, but made a hero's choice to enter ...without hesitation. Aware this decision could mean from earth they'd depart, each made a hero's choice by following his heart. Although hundreds went in, their guidance was heard as one voice and thousands live today because they made...a hero's choice. Every firefighter's limb that bears a burn or a scar represents what they do and defines who they are and the steadfast union they share where it's understood... that it's more than a job; it's a sacred brotherhood. On that fateful day in September, they proved this to be true… When a firefighter's skin is cut, he bleeds red, white and blue. Along with grieving for their loss, let us also rejoice that each firefighter left this earth because he made ...a hero's choice

One person's opinion

Written by a housewife from New Jersey and sounds like this is one ticked off lady. "Are we fighting a war on terror or aren't we? Was it or was it not started by Islamic people who brought it to our shores on September 11, 2001 ? Were people from all over the world, mostly Americans, not brutally murdered that day, in downtown Manhattan, across the Potomac from our nation's capitol and in a field in Pennsylvania? Did nearly three thousand men, women and children die a horrible, burning or crushing death that day, or didn't they? And I'm supposed to care that a copy of the Koran was "desecrated" when an overworked American soldier kicked it or got it wet?...Well, I don't. I don't care at all. I'll start caring when Osama bin Laden turns himself in and repents for incinerating all those innocent people on 9/11. I'll care about the Koran when the fanatics in the Middle East start caring about the Holy Bible, the mere possession of which is a crime in Saudi Arabia . I'll care when these thugs tell the world they are sorry for hacking off Nick Berg's head while Berg screamed through his gurgling slashed throat. I'll care when the cowardly so-called "insurgents" in Iraq come out and fight like men instead of disrespecting their own religion by hiding in mosques. I'll care when the mindless zealots who blow themselves up in search of nirvana care about the innocent children within range of their suicide bombs. I'll care when the American media stops pretending that their First Amendment liberties are somehow derived from international law instead of the United States Constitution's Bill of Rights. In the meantime, when I hear a story about a brave marine roughing up an Iraqi terrorist to obtain information, know this: I don't care. When I see a fuzzy photo of a pile of naked Iraqi prisoners who have been h umiliated in what amounts to a college-hazing incident, rest assured: I don't care. When I see a wounded terrorist get shot in the head when he is told not to move because he might be booby-trapped, you can take it to the bank: I don't care. When I hear that a prisoner, who was issued a Koran and a prayer mat, and fed "special" food that is paid for by my tax dollars, is complaining that his holy book is being "mishandled," you can absolutely believe in your heart of hearts: I don't care. And oh, by the way, I've noticed that sometimes it's spelled "Koran" and other times "Quran." Well, Jimmy Crack Corn and --you guessed it -- I don't care ! ! ! ! ! "Some people spend an entire lifetime wondering if they made a difference in the world. But, the Marines don't have that problem." -- Ronald Reagan I have another quote that I would like to add. "If we ever forget that we're One Nation Under God, then we will be a nation gone under." Also by.. Ronald Reagan One last thought for the day: In case we find ourselves starting to believe all the Anti-American sentiment and negativity, we should remember England 's Prime Minister Tony Blair's words during a recent interview. When asked by one of his Parliament members why he believes so much in America , he said: "A simple way to take measure of a country is to look at how many want in... and how many want out." Only two defining forces have ever offered to die for you: 1. Jesus Christ 2. The American G. I. One died for your soul, the other for your freedom.

9-11-01 The Pentagon

If you haven't seen some of the facts on the plane that crashed into the Pentagon you need to check this out. Just take about two minutes and see if you think the government tell us the truth about things. http://www.asile.org/citoyens/numero13/pentagone/erreurs_en.htm
I have been asked why I post a lot of 9-11 videos and picts. For those of you that didn't figure it out I have been a fire fighter for many years. For the people who have never been a fire fighter, in the military, EMS, or even law-enforcement you may never understand. The type of people that do any of these types of jobs don't do it for a thank you, for the money, or for the glory. We do it to make a difference. Not one person who goes to war, a scene of a shooting, a traffic stop, or even a burning building may think for one second that it may be the last thing that they do. They are willing to take that chance every day for people they don't even know. If for some reason it is the last thing that they do in their life, They for sure don't think that anyone would ever consider them a hero. Well I for one consider everyone that lost their lives during 9-11 that did it to help maybe one more person get home to see their loved ones a hero. They did all this for strangers. Because of this, these hero's gave up the chance to be with their loved ones. Sit back and think about it for a minute. Would you make that sacrifice for a stranger. The people that are overseas right now fighting for us and our freedom are doing the same thing right now. They don't know us yet they are laying down their lives for us (people they don't even know). So just think about it for a minute. Not many people can say they could do that and out of the ones that think they could, Not many of them would. This is just the way I feel and I would like to see everyone to think about what they think a hero is and tell me if they think I am wrong.
