In a short amount of time.

First off, I lost the second job due to this workman's comp thing taking so damned long - no surprise there, as I had a feeling that was going to happen. I mean the holiday season is right around the corner and the owner wanted to make sure they were at full staff. I can't exactly be counted as stafff when I couldn't offer a definite return to work date. I talked to my lawyer yesterday, he said that I should have been getting compensation this whole time and couldn't understand why I haven't received anything. He is supposed to call BWC today and let me know what he found out.

Since I've been off on medical, my account has become overdrawn by quite a large sum. My cell phone - of course - has been shut off due to not having the money to pay the bill, and it is looking like my truck is going to get repossessed - oh well, everything happens for a reason. Yes, I'm pissed off about it, I mean I've been off of work for two months and find out that I should have been getting some sort of payment from workman's comp...Now, I could let this get to me (admittedly, I have let it get to me a little) but on the other hand, I've been scoping out other used vehicles - like the nice yellow dakota sport that is for sale just up the street ;) and keeping my fingers crossed that it is still there when I get the balloon payment from workman's comp - I found out that they (workman's comp) retro compensation...if this is the case, then I should have enough to get that dakota sport and get my "real" cell turned back on!!

Also, I've been doing a lot of thinking about this new relationship - it can't even be called that really. As he did not leave his live-in girlfriend like he said he did - foolish me for believing what he said! I found this out a week ago when I was seeing him - he got a completely random phone call from her. Needless to say, when he called Monday night to let me know he was in town, I didn't go see him. There was the random phone call and a few other things that have started me thinking that he just isn't for me. The big thing being the fact that he is still with his girlfriend - another being that he had offered to move me to Canada, which is where is from, to a town/province that is about a day's drive from where he lives now. It would be easy for him to carry this out, being a truck driver, he wouldn't have much of a problem having two households. Unfortunately for him, I'm not as gullible as he'd like to think - I'm a bit smarter than just pulling up stakes and moving to another country right away.

Oh well, such is life, and yes, everything does happen for a reason... To be continued :P
