In several months I will be home from deployment and I have an interesting choice ahead. I can return to my job(Job A), which is work I thoroughly enjoy(x-ray) but also puts me in a close working relationship with a staff member that irritated the hell out of me and increased my workload(I often wound up doing hers and my share). On the other hand, an employer I left a few years ago wants me to return to work(Job B) for him in the same field(x-ray, just in an educational capacity). The facility owner and staff there are like family to me, best people in the world, but the job is not one I'm too crazy about.I'm ok with what the job is, but it isnt as rewarding to me as my current job. I would, however, love being around these people on a daily basis. Either way I do know I'm fortunate to have any job at all to go back to so I do consider myself lucky. Just curious as to what other people might do.
Btw, too many people use the comment box just to be insulting without even addressing the question, so thats why mine are with approval only.
I'll post any comment if it makes a valid point of some sort but haters and trolls can do their thing somewhere else. |
