I told my best friend if he took his ABUSIVE g/f back, to not call me anymore. She wont change, she is a raging alcoholic, and has finally gone to jail for her behavior towards him. HItting him, burning him with his own cigarette, while he does nothing to retaliate. Which is very commendable. This relationship is only 7 months old.
Every weekend he calls me, and its the same story. He has totally gotten me involved, and i cant take it anymore. It saddens me to see him with such low self esteem, and depressed.
I know im supposed to be there for him thru it all. But i cannot and will not watch him self destruct.
I told him, the night she went to jail, that if he takes her back to not call me anymore.
A. Should I be there for him no matter what?
B. Keep to my word? |
