today was kick ass.
met a friend downtown at Powell's City of books. (YAY books!)
then we headed off to the ZOO! ^.^ (<3 the zoo)
sure it was raining, but we decided to be tourist-y and use umbrellas (usually the use of an umbrella to a true oregonian is a sin.)
so we played around at the zoo all day, and watched a polar bear chew and try to squish this white plastic barrel (and he was REALLY getting into it too...) it was funny.
but after that i asked diana if i could get a lift back to the coast with her since i needed to pick up my car and drop some silver coins off at my mom and dad's (she said sure since she lives a block away from my parents) so i drop off the coins spend some time with my parents then go over to rick's parents to pick up my car and drive home. i got home maybe 20 min ago. (12:30ish am)
