well, i've got this thing, i'd better use it.
i like to toy with ideas from time to time, just to give my brain something to do other than take up space. i've had a couple of blogs or journals before, but i want this one to be different. in the others, i ranted and raved about how much life sucks. not a pleasant hobby, but it allowed me to vent a little.
here, i want to bring some good into this place. make it all cheery. to show that there are good things in life. i was a member of a few dating sites up until just recently. i've got to tell you one thing. of all the community sites on the net, dating and personals sites are the most depressing. add a forum or journal to one of these sites, and i'm sure that the suicide rate goes up some. loneliness, pity and boredom infest those places to the degree that it seems like you're in an insane asylum.
not here on Lost Cherry. this place is so much alive. myspace, xanga and all the others can't hold a candle to this place. here, just the way things are laid out makes you want to interact with others. sure, the point system and cherry bucks are a big deal here, and unique as far as i know. but the main thing is, everyone seems more cheerful and alive here. and there's a whole lot more cooperation going on than meets the eye.
that's why i want to be positive as much as i can with this blog. you, my fellow lost cherries, deserve nothing less.
baby jesus and all the rest, deserve a giant pat on the back for bringing us this wonderful world. myspace's days are numbered. :)
