This is kind of interesting. I do tend towards the practical in life, weighing what I want vs the responsibilities I have taken upon myself, though I am also impractical in many ways (my spending habits for one). Sharp, I would have to agree with that, I'm smart and rather quickwitted...most of the time. I also tend to grasp concepts that many don't. Very intuitive, once again, I would have to agree, though I tend to listen to my intuition more then anything else. But when I don't, I get in trouble, so I think I'll continue to do so. Optimistic and energetic, not recently, though often. All in all I would say this one fits, though I'm not sure I would make a good doctor. I am empathic, so I would cringe with every wound and needle, not big on the sight of blood, the list goes on and on. And of course, the other part of this...I don't believe I'm all that compassionate or caring. I have a measure of disdain for those who allow themselves to be hurt in some manner, or I see the hilarioty of the situation. How much trust do you think a patient would be able to place in a doctor who is laughing at them??
A therapist though, thats interesting. I actually did want to be one for awhile...especially since I am usually the one my friends and family come to for advice or just to talk out a difficult situation. I have an apparently rather unique ability to seperate myself from the situation, and give an unbiased opinion about the situation. Well, as unbiased as it can be from normally only hearing ONE side of the story.
I do love learning new things, as many of you know...and its actually rather vital to my growth. I think thats part of my apathy, is that I haven't learned anything new in quite sometime and it has now gotten to the point where I do not desire to learn, or cannot find anything of "interest". So that is something I am going to have to shake...but how, I do not know yet. If you have any thoughts...please share them!
