So... today at work... I was moving a pallet with the hilo and lucky me... the pallet caught along one of the wire shelving parts and made a grinding noise.. I slammed on the breaks... I heard a creaking sound growing louder and louder... The bottom legs of the cross section gave way under the weight of all the pallets on the top shelf and came tumbling down on top of me... Luckily I did not get hurt, but god that scared the shit out of me completely.. Having lots of steel beams and wire racking along with wooden pallets and their contents coming straight towards you is not very fun. In fact it makes you think oh my fucking god this thing is going to kill me.. And of course I worry about losing my job because of the loss of property/product... I was told not to worry about this part, but I am still going to for a few days until I find out for sure what is going on. People tried to reassure me that the racking was not stable and was too topheavy to begin with so it probably was not my fault, but still.. they weren't the one having everything rush at them... So I did not get home til about 1AM when I went to work at 9AM lol.. nice long ass fricking day... And of course I have to be back to work in the morning but there is no way I am going to be able to sleep now... So.. its off to movie world as I try to distract myself in a non-alcoholic way.. That might be for tomorrow night... scratch that.. that is for tomorrow night...
