My very first MUMM.... I'm all verklempt.
Not only did my husband's parents not offer monetary help with our wedding (4 months ago), they didn't offer ANY kind of help. Since my parents were the only ones paying (or doing anything), their names were on the invitations (as etiquette dictates). Sunday my husband's older sister calls to tell him his entire family is upset that their parent's names weren't on the invitation. The whole family, except my husband, are horrible people.... so should I stay quiet & let him deal with them, or tell them all to screw themselves & make it very clear why they weren't on the invitation? |
