Hello Family & Friends! I know it's been a while and I apologise for that. We have been so busy. Working for one, then of course every day life can get hectic as you all are aware of. May 8th, 2007 marked the 3rd year anniversary of the passing of my only child. That day, as well as others, are hard for me... but this year, something special happened... let me explain. I took the day off from work - because I knew I would be an emotional wreck - Chris took the day off too to be with me. As I predicted, it was a day of mixed emotions - missing Ryan so much and wanting him here with me, so many memories and so many tears. Later that day I was on the phone. While I was talking I got on the computer real quick to check my email. There was an email from Chris. He told me not to read it till I was done with my phone call. So, after I hung up, I looked at the email, it was an e-card. I am not going to recite it word for word, but it was a nice card saying how much I meant to him and how he was there for me not just during the hard times but always - and then he said that he wanted to make some better memories for me on this certain day (May 8th) and with that he pulled out this ring and asked me to marry him. The center stone is a tanzanite - with diamonds on either side. It is so beautiful. Well through the tears I said YES! He is an amazing man and I treasure each day spent with him. When is the wedding you ask? Well, how about Saturday - July 07, 2007! :-) Chris and I met here on Cherry Tap and although we are not here on a regular basis anymore, CT will always hold a special place in our hearts along with our family and friends that have shared the ride with us!! THANK YOU ALL!!! And most importantly, THANK YOU Chris - for giving me reason to live and love again! I love you, my handsome! :-)
