well holy shit its only the second week into october and it snowed here, hard at times. there was one fatality in a single vehicle rollover close to where i live. from what i heard it happened around 4 am, the guy was driving in the passing lane, not sure how or what happened, but his van ended up on its roof in the middle of the north and south bound lanes, he was driving south, the van laid to rest facing north. he was 35 years old. i feel for his family and friends. the roads where slippery enuff to make the truckers slow right down, and blowing snow reduced visability and the truckers had there 4 way flashers on. not a sight you see everyday. but the snow is almost melted now, mother nature is just being cranky, shes saying im about to go for my beauty nap and old man winter is gonna take over. my job consists of driving a courior truck 5 days a week, some days in the winter, we wonder why the hell are we out on the rds when the school busses have been cancelled, freezing rain had fallin all night yet here we go to risk our lives and not to mention others just to move the freight, everything comes back to the almighty dollar doesnt it?
