| So the last couple years I've been taking myself and the kiddos on a few trips a year. Nothing to extravagant and we also utilize when we have to go out of town for competitions and such. So I'm kind of at a crossroad of how I should do this year. In the last 2 years we've gone to: New York City (planning a trip for 2020), Lake Erie (multiple times), Seven Springs (Twice), Hershey, Pa (we went before summertime last year), Cleveland, Deep Creek-Maryland, Took a day/night trip to the beach in Atlantic City, visited Washington, D.C., and a lot of in between these locations where we visited theme parks, zoos, and etc. They are 7&3 and both have summer birthdays; so they are still fairly young; butnthwy love to travel and explore new areas. My thoughts are to save up this year for long Disney/universal studio/Florida beach trip next year and just stick to Lake Erie and maybe a day/night trip to the coast and keep it simple this summer and enjoy what's close. Oldest wanted to go back to New York but also yells Beach and my youngest just wants to go to a hotel, haha. I save all year to take trips all year and have random getaways, and they are a lot of work when it comes with kids... so should I keep it simple this year and just go to where we've previously visited or.... |
