i CAME ON HERE AFTER MY WIFE DIED INJanuary. was looking for someone to talk to and myby help with the grieving that goes with it. Well I did just that I found so many friendly people here that were willing to listen so i stayed. the longer i stayed the more i found that most of you were in the same boat in one form or another and we are needed for each other. There appears to some of the most gorgeous women here in fuland and the most friendliest also. There are a few kind of snooty ones but you find then most places you go .And they will warm up. I would just like to personally thank everyone who visited my page, left a comment, or ,a rate, a add. you have managed to raise my morall enormously and I will never forget you guys for that. There are many of the women i would like to converse with and flirt with but being 65 yr old doesnt help the situation out any. A little about me now. Igraduated Baker high in 1962. Went to join the navy on arainy saturday and the were closed so i joined the Air Force. Was inducted in Atlanta and flew direct to Lackland AFB in SanAntonio Tex. for basictrainingafter a few weeks there was transfered to chanute AFB Ill just out side Rantoul. Spent 4 weeks of KP and othe detailes un an opening for recip engine came up. 9 more weeks or training and was sent to Dover AFB in Delaware for my first assignment. it ws a little town at the time two patrol cars and the rest of the force was on foot. the sidewalks folded up at dusk and the dads with daughters chained them inside to keep away from the airmen. hahahahah. After 2 years i met my future wife Peggy at party where she was waiting for her boyfriend . I high jacked her from the party and we together for the next 44 years. We had a daughter and then I was transfered to Viet Nam in 1967.served from dec 1967 to feb 1968 was extended a couple of times becuz we were busy about then. Came back to the states to Dover AFB DE for 5 mo and we were sent to Dyess AFB texas at Abilene . beutiful city nice place to rais kids. my new squadron was a rotational squadron which meant 3 mo at home 6mo in tiawn cck ab and then 3 mo at home and then 6mo in mildenhall England. So my tim in texas was short fro th two an a half years i was assigned . I volenteered for anything that woulod get me out of there and got lucky and was sent to eglin afb fla. special assignment for the State /DEpartment. traveled extensively in the southamerica areas and fareast europe . Next assignment was McConnel afb Kansas Whichita. nice base lots of wind was ther for two years and sent to Okinawa, Japan 3 years .worked inSAC and during time off became certified diver and was part of resque team beautiful country and people.really enjoy that tour family was able to go with me . Next stop was Altus AFB Oklahoma 9 years there almost retired there till tornados hit my house thre years in arow and the last time did 8,000,000 damage to two C-5 aircraft and left baseball size hail in my living room and my cars badly beaten up . volentered world wide to get outof there and ended up back at good old Dover AFB Delaware. Retired in 1988 after 27 years of active duty and bee here ever since.
