Hiding in my corner, hider in darkness the taste of blood fills my mouth. I must drink this liquid before it goes cold. It's warmth soothers my forgotten soul. It gives me life that no mortal can equal. Now as this corpse lies still in my lap my soul is content, for the time being. Running a couple fingers around my mouth to catch the last few drops of blood that dribbled down from the corners, I suddenly feel the aura of another that was born into the same world as I. After licking my fingers, careful not to miss any of the delicious liquid, I turn around to see who had come up behind me, disturbing my solitude. Before even seeing who it was I knew it was you because of the deep growl warning me not to turn to fast. Even though you knew you knew it was me you still gave me the warning. As I took the advise and turned slowly I wandered why you had seeked me out. As I faced you, the cold stare sent a shiver down my spine. As if reading my mind you said, "I have come to take you."
"Take me where Godfather?"
"To the meeting." said a voice behind me that I knew could only be Jarryl.
With your mysterious brown eyes still coldly transfixed on mine, I obeyed your command. Firmly grabing my wrist you yanked me to my feet, when my shoulder cracked you realized that you had just pulled my armout of its socket.
When I was on my feet you let go of my wrist and said, "sorry, I didn't try to pull you up the hard."
As I rolled my shoulder it popped back into place,"That's alright, no problem." I replied. While I kicked the corpse, that was lying in my lap before he pulled me up so brutely, out of my way I saw his eyes drift down to it.
"You didn't leavwe anything for me again did you?" Matt questioned.
"Liek usual, I had no idea that you would be coming. Otherwise I would have been nice and left you some."
"Yeah, sure you would have. But anyways, we have to go now."
"What kind of meeting is this?" I questioned, quite confussed.
"It's to decide what we're going to do about you."
"That's reassuring." We turned and walked casuallly out of the house. The cool night air felt good on my skin. The smell of a bonfire lingered in the air. The light from the stars and moon was the only light that shined down around us, and that was al we needed. We got into Matt's car and he drove us to a mansion in the middle of a forest.
