Hope is what guides us, and gives us strength. But when we fail, or face something with intense fear, Where do we turn? When the pit of our stomach, reaches our throat, and we try to swallow the fear What keeps us alive? What keeps us going? When the thought of hope disappearing arises, and reality sets in, The hope we seek appears in mysterious ways And taps us on the shoulder A new life we breathe in sas thw whirling wind blows The darkness that surrounds us slowly fades As does the intense beating of our hearts Hope is near, Hope is here Hope lies within us, untouched and unrelenting it never washes away or turns it's back Although we may not see it, All you need is faith in yourself All you need is a little hope

Each morning I wake hoping to hear your voice. A smile forms across my face as I feel the warmth of your skin against mine. As you lay there asleep my mind wanders into the events from the night before. Every moment, every touch, every kiss. You turn over and place your hand in mine as you kiss my neck. Without a word you say "Good morning beautiful." We lay in bed, no need to speak, the silence says it all. Time goes by without so much as a whisper and slowly the rising sun peeks through the window. Neither one of us wants to let go. We cling to each other hoping that time will pause if we just wish hard enough. But it doesn't and I slowly roll to get out of bed. The cold first catches my feet and I sneak back under the covers as you tug my arm. Not just yet. I give you a kiss before I lay my head on your chest. I can hear your heart beat and to me it is the most beautiful sound ever. Some more time goes by and I search for my clothes with only my eyes, I don't want to leave your side yet. A peaceful moment in a crazy world. One more kiss before I get dressed. You lay there in the bed smiling. As I am about to leave you remind me that I forgot something. I sit on the side of the bed and you pull me in close. Brushing your hand across my face you kiss my forehead. Staring deep into my eyes you say "You're beautiful" and once more I am out the door.

A new dawn breaks The sound of the pouring rain steadys her heart Her breath a cool whisper as she wakes still tangled in his embrace The warmth he brings is like no other They move as one, their bodies intertwined like the notes of a blues song Her mind races, her thoughts are endless but the words cannot be found the feeling she has inside is like no other, to describe it would take an eternity Their eyes speak in perfect harmony, glowing like no other As the rain begins to come down harder her heartbeat rises, moving instinctively to the pitter-patter of rain drops hitting the window To him, her kiss is more rich than any food known to man, Her love, like ecstasy He caresses her silky smooth skin unable to get enough To walk through life without her would be the end of him Times passes them by like cornfields on a scenic drive They are, in this moment, untouchable Their chemistry, undeniable Their love, unforgetable.
