| I will try to keep this short. Was at a HUGE party last weekend. On Saturday morning I overheard a good friends boyfriend talking to another girl on the phone. He was trying to remain alone and was talking all cutsy. Saturday night I sat on some guys lap (NOTHING ELSE) because I was drunk and he put me there, and said good friends boyfriend caught me as I was leaving. I told my husband about the lap thing right away, we talked, and we got over it. Good friends boyfriend talked to my husband about lap boy the following Sunday morning. Monday morning I told my good friend to check her phone logs for Saturday morning and it was the chick she's been suspicious of. You probably guessed, good friends boyfriend says I made the whole thing up, minus the fact that he did call her, in retaliation for him "telling on me". He also decided to embellish a few details to my husband to make me look as bad a possible. Ok, now here's the question: I want to tell my good friend that I had already told my husband about lap boy and that I would die if she thought that I would risk her relationship over something so stupid. Should I or should I just wash my hands of the whole messy situation? |
