People have been reaching out to me to "check on me" but I'm not used to that... it really kind of makes me withdraw more... I actually feel a little uncomfortable receiving sympathy...

I look back at this place (fu) and sometimes just shake my head.... I sign on to kill time now more than to be a perverted asshole.. I realize that I come here because some of my closest yet still distant (online) friends are from here... I talk to them often.. and when we stopped playing the fubar game.. we realized that we had other things in common.. other interests.. in other words.. a real life... now I wish I had reached out more.. some that were here are gone and I have no way of checking on them.. but I'm grateful for the friends I have.. both on here and away.. they actually like me as the normal nerdy "soccer dad" too.. shows that not everyone here is superficial.
