To Whom It May Concern...
I work for idiots. Plain and simple. Do you doubt me? Let me explain...
The Health Care organization I work for used to employ me at their Rehab center. I have been at that center for more than 6 years. When things started to look grim for them, my Manager asked me to go and work at Skilled Nursing for awhile. I was not all together pleased with this, but I did it anyways. Viva La Company. Then things started changing, and I KNEW what was coming. I was asked (see: TOLD) to transfer from Rehab to skilled nursing fo rthe "time being". Not idiotic, you say? Ah, but wait, there's more!
I was told, by my MANAGER, that I had to go to the central Human Recources and fill out a survey in order to make my transfer complete. I was also given paperwork to sign to make it complete. Here we come to Idiot Example #1: the paperwork I was given was marked as
"Transfer/Termination Employment Form" WTF DOES ONE HAVE TO DO WITH THE OTHER???? It would seem that alot more than I thought. I was at HR Central being a Happy Drone filling out said survey. I got to the part that asked me "Why were you Terminated? (Please see choices below)" Uh, 'scuse me? I wasn't fired. I brought this to the attention of Herr Secretary (I forgot to mention the Hitler in Secretarial form who refused to let me speak to an HR rep at all...), who insisted I was terminated. It took me 30 minutes and a threat of hysterics to get her to change THAT little factoid. She then refused to do anything else, telling me that my MANAGER has to take care of everything (who got me into this in the first place? hmmm?). I E-Mailed my Manager, who is on her Honeymoon. Yay Manger. I talked to her temporary replacement, who had NO power whatsoever to help and told me to talk to the Manger when she got back. I called and left a voicemail for the HR manager who handles both the building I used to work in (Rehab) and the NEW building I work in (skilled). NO help from anywhere. I go to see my new supervisor. Sweet lady, but she had no clue, either.
I get a call at 2:30 in the afternoon from the HR Manger I left a message with. She is DESPARATE to keep me from quitting (wtf? I was terminated, didn't she hear?), and told me that she took care of EVERYTHING...no need for me to lift a finger.
