The gym that I currently use, used to be a Gold's facility. The last few months, the gym switched to a different name & along with the changed name comes changed prices. I am currently still paying the " Gold's " price of $ 30 a month per person ( So I pay $ 60 ) a month for us both to go. New members under the new name only has to pay $ 10 a month. I asked why the difference & they said if I wanted to pay the $ 10 a month I'd have to pay $ 200 up front....So my question is.
If you have been a loyal customer of a gym for a long time, and you already paid a $ 200 up front fee ( When it was Gold's ), should you have to repay another $ 200 just to get your bill lowered ? --Might I mind you we also have to pay an annual $ 60 fee for " Up keep of the gym ".
A. They just want money, find a new gym
B. It's not Gold's anymore, so you should have to pay the fee to switch
