| Now welfare is a program designed to help those with out a job and to give them medical assistance. Yet once some of these people get a job they are dropped from welfare, and are trying to make it on what little they make, and find that they cant along with paying medical bills. Now in my opinion, if you dont get a job after a set time then you should be removed from welfare. Make these people get jobs for one, and then once they have give assistance by supplementing them. If they are accustomed to making lets say 500 every two weeks, and they get a job making 400 a week supplement them the 100 to make what they would on welfare, as well as medical benefits until they can afford there own medical insurance. This may help wing people better and help them adjust. What do you think? |
