I stand at the window and watch the parade,
The clowns march by in their ignorant charade,
The steps behind lands where the first had stood,
They play follow my leader like cattle chewing cud,
All eyes face to front, no chance to divert,
Clown after cow, fool follows pervert,
The outlook for the parade of man looks bleak,
They have lost what it is to be new and unique,
A clowns face stands out, I spot in the crowd,
It's makeup is thin, it walks tall, walks proud,
It's eyes look upward, stops, turns to see,
Me by my window, leaves the parade, comes to me,
I wipe away the tear, the makeup on the face,
Of this innocent child, a victim of the race,
This child who has left the safe foolish herd,
Can now be set free, learn to fly like a bird,
I open my arms, beckon the child inside,
I surround them, I comfort, protect, and I guide,
Another child saved, eyes open, now they see,
Another lost innocent, another innocent set free
