Hello boys and girls.. I wanted to take this opportunity to invite those that are interested to a graduation ceremony at the Great Lakes Naval Station on the 20th of July in Chicago, Ill. My Son Charles J. Mays will be graduating from the Navy Medical Training course and should be receiving his promotion and possibly a Meritorious Service award. I will be riding up there on the 18th and hanging about until the ceremony on the 20th. So if anyone will be in the area and wishes to not only show support to my boy child but to the other Navy Cadets that will be receiving rank and Honors. These kids have worked years learning of Honor and service to our Great Nation and deserve the admiration of all of us. Very soon most of these young men and women will be putting themselves in harms way in order to preserve the freedoms we have so long enjoyed. In a time when we so many of our children are falling by the way due to drugs and violence heres a chance for you to let these remarkable people know how much we Honor their efforts.

I was asked by a few people what I was looking for on here and I thought I would post this blog to explain a bit. First off I’m not Looking for anyone or anything. Of course I hope to find someone but I’m not looking. My thoughts are that fate will cause two like souls to meet when its good and ready so one should walk the path they walk and not try to find someone. In living ones life as they wish they will at some point meet another walking the same path. Those that read some of my blogs will get a good idea of my thoughts and feelings even those that are fiction are from my head and heart and should give insight into who I am. But these are the attributes I hope are in the one I do join on that path. Looks are not important, I’m no show stopper so these days it’s the ability to have good conversation and friendship are much more important. The lady that would hold my thoughts will be self confident, intelligent and happy with her life. She would not Need anyone to be complete in her life. She would be absolutely honest and understand the concept of Honor. She would have a sense of humor and be able to take a joke , and give as good as she gets. She would enjoy the outdoors and be able to deal with camping without a hairdryer and microwave… She should have a lust to learn about the universe around her and enjoy science of all disciplines. She should be able to debate her points of view without getting mad when it gets tough. She should never fall to anger or violence no matter what. She should seek adventure and new experiences. She should have a Love of life and wish to help anyone that’s in need. Sexually she should be romantic and have no taboos between us. She should Not enjoy pain in any form as making love is so much more than physical. She should enjoy long hours of love making where slow touching and soft candle light are the moments that hold the moments.. Jealousy is a very bad thing, And the lady I will be with will never be jealous and can expect the same from me. She will be secure in her sexuality and enjoy dressing sexy and being a bit of an exhibitionist. A bi sexual lady is a wonderful mind set as I still don’t understand why luscious women would want anything to do with men in the first place. Women are jewels of this world and I have no idea what a lady sees in hairy, smelly, fartin, butt scratchin , chest thumpin, nasty men . 98% of all men are A’holes and I don’t like hangin with men at all. So that lady of my life should rather watch a home improvement show than a sports show, should rather sit and watch a sunset than go hangin with the guys. Someone once told me I was a girl trapped in a mans body and I think that’s pretty much true as I love to cook, watch the shopping channel, home decorating, gardening, sewing and dancing. I hate sports, racing, cards, and all the hangin with the guy type stuff. Now do I expect to meet anyone like this, not really.. As those that fit this description are rare and those that do probably already have someone in their life so I will just live my life with Honor and go about tilting at windmills an hope that fate points its fickle finger my way.. I have been asked if I mind if some people grab some of my shots for wallpaper and the like , Thats fine but most of the photos are much higher rez than what you see on here .. when I upload a photo the site reduces them to a lower rez smaller file than what I get from my cameras. So if anyone wants a High Rez version just drop me a note with an email address to send them to and I'll send the full size photo.. note that you must use a email service that will allow large files ( 5 meg or better) Yahoo and Hotmail only allow 1 megs files if you use their free service.. I just received a call from my son in Michigan and had to tell the story. He has been recommended for a Meritorious Service Award from the Navy for saving the life of a fellow student that OD’ed during class and has been placed on promotion list for Petty Officer 1st class due to his record and accomplishments. The recommendation reads in part, “ on May 16th 2007 Petty Officer Charles J. Mays U.S.N.C. took control of the situation when a fellow high school student collapsed unconscious. Cadet Mays then commanded a fellow student to call paramedics while he started CPR and directed fellow students to clear the area for emergency personnel that would be arriving. Upon arrival of 2 paramedics he continued to use the skills acquired in his emergency medical cadet training to aid the paramedics until the student was stable and ready for transport.” I cannot tell you folks how this young man has made his father tear up in pride at not only his goal of being a Navy Seal but in his take charge attitude and his wish to help others whenever and wherever the need arises. And to my Son , if you happen to read this, I salute you and hope you always know my pride of you in all you have done in your life. And it goes without saying, I love you with all the fiber of my being.. You are and shall always be the light in my life.. Paul R. Mays
