Sometimes,I am utterly amazed at what my boys find awesome. I was thinking I would get to go to sleep early,it's been a long day. I send my sons to bed.Next thing I know my 10yr old is flying down the stairs telling me the 6 yr old is all jacked up. Alex never panics unless his ass is the one in trouble.There in the bathroom sitting on the counter is Max,blood running down his neck and freaking out! Yea,this isn't them in bed,nope this is Max feeling the need for speed in the front room. Apparently at the speed of light he tripped,fell chin first into an antique cast iron stove. I look at it and am thinking it is going to be alright,put a band aid on it and we are good.Um,no,not gonna be that easy. It's deep and wide but not long. I put him in the car and off we go to the friendly country hospital.I am kinda smart,I know this will be an in and out trip in this hospital. Max is well known here.He is known by his first,middle and last name. We visit on a routine basis.bee sting to the inside of the mouth,35lb weight dropped on his foot,pneumonia and now this. our favorite Dr is there(Dr. C.)Max is singing some made up song as he waits for the numbing gel to kick in and I am waiting for him to fall off the bed. Two shots and 5 stitches later and he is good to go.He talks to Dr. C the whole time and just tells him that once again it was awesome to see him and we will be back in 5 days to see him again.I just want to know one thing....when do I get to sleep? This is awesome!
