Imagine that the first life forms on earth were fish, that eventually worked there way up onto the surface. After millions of years of evolving, liforms can actually study the earth, the millions of other planets, and other lifeforms and chemicals they can find. Hurling through space directly towards them is a massive rock. The rock smashes into earth and half of the world is embedded into nothing. Dust is thrown up into the air and the remaining lifeforms slowly die from the lack of sunshine. If this is so how many times has this happend before we got here.
