So I need to stop thinking for a bit (which is totally impossible unless I was brain dead....not a viable option at this time) so i figured the next best thing is....a mindless action movie.
I've narrowed my selections to either - Rise of the Planet of the Apes OR Conan the Barbarian.
I've always been a fan of Pierre Boulle (who also wrote Bridge over the river Kwai). And I loved the original series of movies (and to a lesser extent - the tv show - yes i'm that old to remember it).
As for Conan the Barbarian - I used to read the books and even own the 2 movies that Arnold did (and even red sonja...shudders).
I'm really afraid to see how movies of my youth are being "re booted" but whatever, it's a time out of the house.
