Blonz SDMF's blog: "Things you should know about FU"

So I had a blog about this forever,,And somehow it piggybacked a different blog.Well I deleted what I thought was the other blog, and it removed the blog w this topic,This will be fun.I am going to do it "bullet" style so I can add to it.If nothing else it will be informative.So here we go.

. You do not have to be friends w ANYONE , to like and rate them.You can do it by way of the tooltip.If your not sure what that is, just ask.

.Point boosting is 5 10 amd 15 % , which means that it is 5.10 or 15 only .Not that percentage.

.Not everyone wants 1000s of friends, FU is a bar ,not FB. Do not get mad,just ask someone else, there are millions of people here.

.Shit facing over someone else.really aggravates a good percentage of the people in this bar.Best way to be sure is to check,It takes longer to SF someone , than it does to check.And IF it says DO NOT SF,then do not do it.Save yourself the hassle.Or perhaps a buzzkill.

.Ever have a friend leave FU and you could not figure out WHO it was?Just type fubar.com/ and put their numbers in after the forward slash, and you can find out exactly who it is/was.

.The dreaded blocking.Blocking IS a BIG thing here.The reason you see people you have BLOCKED is because you are friends w other people that are friends w them.In a perfect world,you would never see them again.But FU is not perfect, so....But if you come upon someone who has you blocked, just return it....

.Saying "thank you" is a lost art any more.Two words, fairly easy to say,yet many have forgotten how...When you get a "free"bling off of someones page, just say "thank you".Cause even if you don't there is a way to find out who these people are...On your home page , just click "sent bling", it will tell you everything and everyone.

.Do not get upset if someone of the same sex "likes you".The name of this game is to be Liked.If you really do not want the same sex "liking" you.Use your block option.I want to believe most aren't phobes,but to the naked eye.That is how it looks.Don't HATE.

.Really flashy pictures can be harmful to some.Please keep that in mind when posting a default photo.

.Default pictures.I have been trying to figure out forever, why people insisit,on having a default of someone w their middle finger up.Flashing the bird,is so 1980...lol.But seriously what is it you are trying to say.Noob or a old timer , makes no real sense.And keep this in mind"you NEVER get a second chance to make a first impression".And if that is how you really feel, maybe FU is not for you...

.Reinvites ONLY purpose is to repopulate the bar.Yes there are requirements for them.Some do not like to do them,so don't. I have reinvited over 25 000 people.Got a achievement for it.You only get "credit" once.But you get the points everytime.

.If you get the message "This user is inelgible", all that means is someone has already reinvited that person.Reinvites are a pain yes, but then so are alot of other things in life...

.Ok here is another piece of sound and good advice. I have noticed a strange  thing. Mostly w newbies and re invites.Stop using your "real name"First name good, last name,you are just asking for all kinds of trouble.There are "bad " people in this bar.Be weary, be smart.Use your first name only.Unless you do not care about identity theft or other kinds of "crap you really do not need". ...Your welcome.

.Crushes ...why do so many of you stress over who has a crush on you.It will cost you one ability point.But you can find out who it is fairly easy.On the FUbar header,click MY.Drop down menu click "Abilities". Then you get a full menu.Clcik "Reveal my Crushes"..And there you have it.If there is more than one page , you will have to spend another ability.Up to you..

.People pictures of your kids for a default will get flagged as NSFW. FUs T.O.S. clearly say they are not allowed FU is a ADULT site, hence only pics of YOU with your kids are allowed. Do not get mad when they get flagged just do not post them...

. Ok ..this is for the noobs or new people to FU. In doing close to 75000 reinvites, I noticed something.First of all, FU is NOT  a hook up joint.It is a freaking BAR. Stop posting bare naked and bikini clad default photos.T.O.S. CLEARLY  states these kind of photos are NOT ALLOWED as a default photo.Same w dick pics...smmfh...Post them they will get flagged.Do you really want the hassle??? smh

.Another thing I am seeing alot of , in doing reinvites are confederate flags.A HUGE no no for your default pic.There was a failed uprising back when it was first incorpoarated.But FU is a site , that has it's own rules.NO CONFEDERATE FLAGS are permitted as a default,If you do it will get flagged and removed,You can keep the pics in your photos...

.So I have seen people get upset , because they came across a reinvite for someone they knew had passed.Ok it is NOT the bars fault.Unless someone deletes whoevers profile, that is bound to happen.If you come across said reinvite, YOU DO NOT have  to reinvite thst person.Problem - Solution...

Ok I need to say something.STOP getting upset over not getting a like or a rate.If you find that you can not like or rate someone. It is more likely than not , that you hit a famp, and that person was in it...

. Something I just became aware of.  Point boosting. Let's say you are point boosted for 15%.And someone comes along and shitfaces you.Well that is "another" 10% as far as boosting goes.So in theory, your boost should be 25 % .Well that is not how this game is played, 15% over rides the additonal 10%. Of course if it less it still makes no difference.. So  that being said .Pretty interesting stuff , and food for thought... Hmmmmmmm
