I keep seeing this old 2005 disclaimer on most peoples fubar profile. I really wish people would stop using it. If you actually did any real research or read the TOS of fubar, you'd already know you have absolutely no privacy when it comes to fubar or any other social media. if made 'public' your photos, blogs and profile can be used for use of fubar or anyone that knows how to screenshot.
Using this disclaimer just leads me to believe that you, 1.) blindly follow along with others 2.) Have No balls to do your own research on if the warning had merit. 3.) really do believe everything you read on social media/news/forums. There is a plethora of information out there on why this "warning" is bogus, if you actually took the time to go look for it, you would know.
If you don’t want something to be witnessed, don’t do it. You don’t want people to know something about you? Don’t share it. If you don’t want people observing you, delete your social media accounts. It is your responsibility to control what information you disclose. Claiming that you will consider something a breach of privacy after you have posted it in an open forum is like a petulant toddler stomping their feet and saying “I don’t wanna”. Or, writing an NY Times bestseller and requesting that no one talk about it. It just doesn’t work that way.
Ps... Someone is always watching you, This is basic human nature. We are curious humans, it's instinctual and sometimes even subconscious. We file away things and think about them later. If someone were to use this information for; let's just say to answer a thesis question, we are sharing our information on a site and vitiate our right to keep that information private.
