Well, Since I need to get back into my writing, What type of writing shall I do.. Hmmm.. Well, Halloween is falling upon us so I guess I shall write a ghost story for you all.. I hope you enjoy it as much as do and Pleasant Dreams..
Dave just moved to a new town with his parents as they settled into their new apartment. Dave looked out to the window when he noticed a boy about his age playing in the joint back yard. He walks out there to find the boy playing with a paper air plane. He appeared to be Dave's age.. 8 or 9 years old. Short brown hair, deep blue eyes, and wearing a denim blue jumper outfit. It was dirty and rugged but Dave didnt care. Dave approached the boy as he wore a smile on his face. The other turned and saw Dave as he was making his way towards. The child smiled as well as he stopped all that he was doing. Soon they both started to talk and introduce each other. The other boy's name was name Billy.. And soon Billy and dave quickly became friends..
Dave would rush out to the backyard as soon as he got home from school. He would meet up with Billy as they played cowboy and indians, cops and robbers, hide and seek, all the games that kids played. Dave's mom would watch for the kitchen window with a strange look on her face. This went on for weeks and weeks. Dave's parents were getting concerned for Dave as they noticed he wasnt paying attention to his school work and coming home past his curfew. The parents finally decided to sit down and have a talk with their son but they wanted to make sure to do it somewhere where he would not over act. They made a plan and went to bed that night as Dave went to sleep soundly.
That very next day, as Dave came home from school his parents quickly snatched him up and took him to a local pizza pallor. They had their fill of the pizza buffet and a round of orange sodas. As all become calm,Dave's mom looks to Dave and starts to ask him all sorts of question. Dave just looked her funny as she asked all these.. Soon his father started to ask as well as Dave was starting to think his family was crazy. Dave then began to tell them about Billy and how they hang out everyday after school and play games. Dave's mom then asks him to bring over inside the house sometime. Dave looks to his mom and says to her, " He isnt allowed to go into other people's houses."
The mom thought that was reasonable and says to Dave well, " Well.. If Billy can give you his phone number or address then I will go over and ask his mom if Billy can stay over one night." Dave nodded and smiled as he goes about finishing his last bite of pizza.
The next day, Dave goes to his mother after returning home from school. He then smiles to her and hands her a piece of paper. " Mommy.. his is Billy's address..". The mom smiled and asks Dave if he wants to go on a ride to Billy's house. Dave nods and rushes out to the driveway as his mom follows behind him. They both hopped into the car and then leave the house. ( To be Continued...)
