Friendship

We as human being go through many test in life. Our patience, knowledge our strengths and weakness but very rarely does our friendships get tested. When this test comes along thats when you know whether or not if you had passed. Take a moment to think back to all your pass friendships, did either of you  became angry at the other and realize that you can forgive each other or did you continue to hold grudges. Did either of you became the bigger person and said I'M SORRY LETS MOVE ON PASS THIS? If you got pass the anger and moved on then you passed the test. If you or the other person stayed angry then two things happen: 1- You still hold on to the hurt 2: That was a friendship that wasn't meant to be. Either way just take comfort in the knowledge that you found out before things got of hand. Life too short and take care of yourself.

Do For Ourselves

I've been watching the Preidendal race for the past few days and I'm so sad that it has come down to foolishness.

That people on both sides have taken a stand of blaming each party for the shape in which our nation has become.

It is understood that the canidates really are not speaking for the American people but for the special intrest.

First off let me state this-in this blog I'm going to try and not takes side (Dem-Rep or Ind) parites. However, I will take the side of the group to which I belong to and that is the working class, Nor am I a socialist or comminust. So, don't feel that I'm being Un-American.

Now thats out of the way lets start. For far too long we have become a group of cry babies. What I mean we The People have gotten lured into a false sense of right and wrong. That we depend on others to do what is right for us. For example believing the officals we elect will take care of all our problems. Yes they are elected to do a job but once they are elected then We The People sit back and leave it to the wind. Well most of us. Laughing Of Loud. I believe that once a canidate is elected then it is our responibility to keep a sharp eye on the elected officals. How do you ask?

Well here how:

  1. Start particapating in our community events.
  2. Think about our neighbors in our communities
  3. Try and do the best you can everyday.
  4. Pass along a good deed everyday.
  5. Think positive everyday.

Now I know that this may seem silly but look at it like this: We are all members of Fubar and the way it set up is to meet people who we other wise wouldn't meet. People from different back grounds and cites. Now in order to really enjoy Fubar we have to particapate-buy drinks-rate and like a person profile. So if we can do it here then I know it can be done in the real world. Just by being a member of Fubar I gotten to know at lease 500 people and it growing every week. This web-site gives you the tools to do for yourself.

The elected officals are suppose to give us- The American people the tools for us to do for ourselves but the method broke down along the way. It has gotten to the point that only a few get what they need(special interest) and the rest of us are left hanging in the wind.

Wall street Execitves-Bankers-CEO ETC/ So basically we have to start doing for our selves and once we do that then the elected officals will get the message- DO YOUR JOB.

I leave you with a quote:

DON'T AS WHAT YOUR COUNTRY CAN DO FOR YOU BUT WHAT YOU CAN DO FOR YOUR COUNTRY! JOHN F. KENNEDY

We Grow

The Cycle

The other day I saw a group of children playing in the park I was walking by. I also, saw a group of teenagers playing basketball on the courts near the swings. I began to see how the teenagers yelling and cursing at each other. Now at the same time I looked back at the little kids playing by the swings and realize that these little kids will some day will grow into teenagers and they too will begin to develop bad communication skills, just like the ones on the basketball court. I began to feel sad due to the fact that the cycle will continue to repeat itself. I thought that maybe I should say something to the teenagers about their language and at the same time I was scared. The teenagers in a large city like New York really don't care for advice, especially from strangers. I was torn between doing the right thing which is to speak with the group (teenagers) or maybe live to my next age. Some how I didn't have to make that decision, you see another teenager that was part of the group told the others to watch what they are saying and have respect for themselves and the little kids. To my amazement the teenagers began to chose their words wisely and apologize to everyone. It was at this moment I felt a sense of pride in the teenagers. That they will teach others the right thing to do or in this case the right thing to say.

I also began to remember back to when I was a teenager and that the group I was hanging with we did the same thing, yelling, cursing and that someone from the group said cool out. So we did. I guess the moral of the story is we grow from the people we surround ourselves with and that in turn helps us to grow. This in turn makes us change into something more than just uncaring beings.
