Eyes clash across the room,
Enticement crosses their minds,
Words spoken softly to each other,
Flowers bloom within their hearts,
Feelings develop toward one another.
Days pass as passion swells,
Expectations are beyond mortal minds,
The night comes soon enough,
Sweet desire passes through their parted lips,
She becomes everything to him, he becomes everything to her.
Hands run through silk hair,
Butterflies flutter within them,
Chests constrict with anticipation,
They tremble as the caress each other’s bodies,
Ecstasy achieved as they reach for the heavens.
Holding each other tightly through the night,
They watch the window, waiting for the sun,
Their hearts swell at eh sight of the golden dawn,
As the rays of light hit them, they become…..
One.
