The Spirit of Christmas
Now I'm not a real religious man
But, something I can't understand
Somehow, the spirit of Christmas has been lost
It comes at a price, what a terrible loss
Nintendo's and x-box for thousand of dollars on ebay what a deal
Somehow, the thief got a licence to steal
Christmas decorations on display before Halloween
Greedist bunch of merchants like I've never seen
Buying and spending o' what a thrill
until, you get your credit card bill
We moved the Savior's birthday to the December
To appease the Pagans why, I can't remember
It's not about Santa Claus or St. Nick
What ever name you choose you can take your pick.
Christmas is about our savior's birth
A gift to all here on Earth
A gift from God from up above
A gift to all to show his love
Saddens me so, that once a year.
Only then, people are filled with good cheer
The greatest gift that we can send
Is to be good every day to our fellow men
Don't let the spirit of Christmas leave after Christmas day.
Keep it with you, let Christ's love show the way
