I'm convinced meeting people online is more about marketting banner ads than it is actually hooking up with someone that you find to be unbelievably fun.
There's nobody cool anymore. Furthermore, wtf happened to all the rock stars of the world? Thats another rant for another day though....
The point is... Trying to meet someone online is about as productive as sticking your hand in the garbage disposal with it turned on. I don't know anyone its worked for. It sure seems to me to be more about superficial ego boosting than it is about meeting someone that you will have more fun in an hour with than most married people have fun in during their entire lives.
The whole thing is just a big stupid farce...
