"The Human"
i need to dance...in the woods...under the stars...by the brook...
with my senses...all in tune...with the goddess...with the Moon...
i need...for just a moment in time...to be free...
of...the human part of me...
to breathe in...to breathe out...
breathe her in...breathe it out...
to taste sweet peace...to be safe...
within the arms...of pure harmony...
if i were to lose myself...who would find me???
who would know???
if i had one fear...this...it would be...
please forgive...this human part of me...
i keep my faith...wear it close to my heart...
i see with open eyes...i know...
my plight it pales...in the light of others...
yet still i call it out to thee...set me this woman...your daughter free...
untie my hands...
and once again...
forgive...this...
the human part of me...
this prayer from one simple earthbound mother...
to the Blessed luminous other...
to my Father in the sky...i beg thee...
hear your daughter...hear her plea...
as you will it...so mote it be...
grasping on a silver star...it lays softly on my brow...
and all knowing comes to me...the end...i know...not far to be...
yes...i know this...to be true...
yet still i call it out...to you...my plea...
please forgive this...the human part of me...
for i've let it cloud...your gift to me...
my beautiful...my sacred...clarity.
