Standing at the gates of invitation
With starry, water island eyes
She'll tear down your verbal avocations
With introductions through deviation
A self proclaimed nurse of healing
Halting the persecuted nomads
With acts of compassion
With acts of fashion
Baby, you're just a fox in a lion's cage
Just a fox in a lion's cage
With a needed distraction
And a maze of passion
She speaks in sweet tongue
Post humorous wines roll off
Intoxicating lures they take the bait
One last pass before they're landed
Pamphlets stuffed with reason
Yet they believe it isn't the season
Or the beneficial properties for the rich
It's a life lived without reason
Baby, you're just a fox in a lion's cage
Just a fox in a lion's cage
With a needed distraction
And a maze of passion
She's just a fox in a lion's cage
Please come before the attraction
