IF YOU TRY TO SELF MEDICATE FOR A SUSPECTED AGING PROSTATE LIKE I DID... YOU COULD HAVE BLADDER CANCER AND/OR PROSTATE CANCER AND LOSE THE CHANCE TO CATCH IT IN TIME.
Don't make my mistake. I had untreated undiagnosed aggressive high grade papillary carcinomas of the bladder and prostate, for at least a year and a half. As a result I have had 7 procedures in 11 months including partial bladder resection. At my insistence, I haven't had any organs removed yet. However, should it be absolutely a last resort that might happen. I have had chemotherapy twice.
I am feeling strong and in less pain than 6 months ago, but a major danger with this type of cancer is lethal infections that could kill me next week if I caught one. The 5 year stats are not good for me.
I've decided to post this, given the numbers of men my age group on this site. If I save one of you guys its worth telling about this candidly here. The symptoms for these cancers are exactly the same as prostatitis and other aging prostate issues. Do not screw around with self-medicating. See a doctor. |
