No, this is not sports or smoke related! Sorry if you got excited.
I am lucky enough to not have to cook Thanksgiving Dinner this year. We will be going to a family members house, and I have been asked to make my beautiful and yummy Punpkin Torte for desert. I make an equally yummy spinache dip that has been requested as well. As you all are probably aware, the dip is usually served in a bread bowl. Well the last time I made it I served it in the bread bowl w/ Pita chips, rather than using the bread that had been removed from the center of the loaf. The chips really went well with the dip, and will serve it that way from now on.
So......my question is this: If I'm not going to use the bread that has been removed to form the bowl, why even buy it?
Should I: A) just forego the bread bowl entirely, and serve it a really nice serving bowl
Or, should I: B) stick with tradition and use the bread bowl anyway and waste what I remove form the center |
