Texas

Natural Born Natives of the land of Texas have always held a certain pride in being a natural born Texan. There is a self-respect and emotion which arises in our hearts and minds when we hear songs like, The Eyes of Texas, Texas Our Texas, Yellow Rose of Texas, Long Tall Texan, and others. A sense of pride comes over us when we recognize our Texas bird (mockingbird), our Texas flower (bluebonnet), our Texas tree (pecan), our Texas seal (olive branch and live oak), our Texas flag (the lone star and the bonnie blue), and when we gaze upon and admire our Capitol Building and the Alamo. We get a special sense of self-esteem when we recall our history back to when our land was its own independent nation. A wistful dream comes on us that Texas could return to that status and we could be our own people once again, owing nobody or any nation anything. A quiet type of patriotism arises in Texans, honoring those who died at the Alamo to achieve our independence, and those who gave their lives at San Jacinto. We wonder if we let those heroes of Texas down when they fought so hard and lost their lives to give us independence and we later turned our back on freedom and that independence to become subjects of the United States. Those heroes of Texas past would not be happy with the state of affairs of their land if they could see what we have become and what we have done to those freedoms. Remnants of those ideals of men, like James Bowie, Stephen Austin, Sam Houston and Davy Crockett, still remain with us. Our part time legislature (which meets once every two years) is only one of those reminders of their feelings towards freedom. Our early Texas fathers felt strongly against having too many laws which curtail freedoms. Even in this modern, expanding, technological society we Texans still want our liberties left intact and not taken away from us by a state government, U.S. federal government, United Nations or anyone else. We choose to remain sovereign, free, independent, and enjoy the Creator's blessings on the land of Texas. Even in our arrogance of Texas pride, we Texans have compassion on these persons which have migrated to Texas from other points of the globe. We welcome them and consider them full blood Texans after living on the land seven years. However, we do expect them to drawl out their words, wear cowboy boots and hats, and drive a pickup truck. One of our responses to non-Texans moving into Texas is "...Well, what took you so long!" Every wonder of nature that the Creator has given to the earth, He gave at least one to Texas. In our minds, it is the Garden of Eden of the new world. A land filled with such natural beauty deserves to be free and filled with men who enjoy Texas wonders. Texas enjoys the same sense of freedom and pride that the Hebrews must have had coming out of bondage in Egypt. Mitzrayim (Hebrew for "Egypt") means bondage, rules, and boundaries. No one can deny the fact that the federal government of the United States has placed Texans under bondage, rules and boundaries. More than half of the native born Texans want out of the federal system. They do not want to destroy or harm the united States of America. The u.S.A. has a similar history of fighting for freedom from oppression. We native born Texans and many adopted Texans just simply want to become free again from our Mitzrayim, the federal government of the United States. Texas must be the forerunner in re-establishing its independence and sovereignty. Peaceful and legal severance from the United States will set the example for the rest of the several states of the united States of America to be able to force the federal system from their lands; not to destroy the united States of America, but to reaffirm their freedoms, in statehood and independence, and force the leaders of the united States of America to return to their noble heritage, before it is too late. The drive to free Texas and Texans from the federal government of the U.S. has begun! It is a peaceful and legal demand for freedom from the United States. Even though the government and the government controlled media have so far effectively quashed the news of the re-establishment of the Republic of Texas, the movement has a grass roots base and is growing by hundreds of Texans daily Many home-grown, native Texan politicians, judges, officials, mayors, policemen, and lawyers agree with the goals of the Republic of Texas, even though at this time they must remain in the background, they silently pray and support the Republic of Texas. Estimates of support of the people of Texas, who are aware of the legal maneuvers and actions toward freedom, number between 250,000 and 500,000. Many are waiting to see the real possibility before officially signing onto the Republic of Texas. Those who have signed on as Republic of Texas sovereigns, and are willing to make their stand in favor of the Republic number about 50,000. The news media has labeled these Texans as tax-protesters and dissidents and they slant the real power of the people giving estimates of supporters at about 2,000. Don't believe the news media. The Republic of Texas is a growing, thriving, legal entity, representing the sovereigns of the lands of Texas. Much thought, care, concern, and plans are being made to make a peaceful transition back to a free nation. The Republic of Texas provisional government is laying groundwork to lessen the economic hardships on the residents of Texas when independence is gained. They are aware and working on the many problems, (economic, political, military, taxes, judicial, etc.), which will face the people of Texas as a result of gaining independence from the United States. This effort to free Texas from its political ties with the United States is getting world-wide recognition and support. Many sovereign people from other states including some American Indian nations are supporting the Republic of Texas, through prayers, labors, and finances. Sovereign peoples of other nations, who live in Mexico, Saudi Arabia, Israel, Peru, Hawaii, Chile, Colombia, and others have given their support, with a handshake and the wink of an eye. All the sovereign peoples of the u.S.A. , Texas, and the rest of the world, know that Texas (since it is the largest in land mass and population to seek freedom) must succeed in its attempt to re-establish its nation status, for there to be hope for their people to end the tyranny of the world government which is closing in on all of us. Religious God-fearing Texans sincerely believe that the hand of the Almighty Creator is in the re-establishment of the Republic of Texas. His shadow (the cloud by day and the fire by night) has protected us, so far, from the evil which attempts to destroy a free people and their land. The United States cannot afford to refuse our request for independence, that we are seeking through legal means. The United States took a political and moral, position when the U.S.S.R. broke up and that principle is now a precedent for the Republic of Texas people. The U.S. supported the break up of the U.S.S.R., in the name of democracy and freedom, and forced the world opinion against the U.S.S.R. The world community of nations immediately recognized the new nations resulting from the separation of the several states of the U.S.S.R. Texas wants nothing more than this from the United States. Will the U.S. be hypocritical in its philosophy or will it formally accept and officially recognize the Republic of Texas? The United State's good faith and credit and its reputation is on the line now !! The U.S. should not interfere with the people of Texas grasping for and desiring independence and freedom. The U.S. itself set the precedent and example, and since its own honor is at stake the liabilities it would incurr from being sanctimonious and hypocritical could be disastrous. Those new nations of the old U.S.S.R. should see the correlation of their situations and those of Texas. Those new nations should immediately recognize Texas as the independent nation of the Republic of Texas. The work and the amount of work is not easy or light and those who have taken on the task of freeing Texans from our Mitzrayim, do so at great personal risk and sacrifice . The road ahead will be filled with many obstacles and hardships for the new nation and its people, but the freedom gained will be worth it all!! The Republic of Texas is looking for some real Texan statesmen such as the character we have not seen since David Crockett. The Republic of Texas needs solid soveriegn citizens of every community who will spread the news and message to the people of Texas , who, thanks to a biased, government controlled news media, stay uninformed. We need men and women who, like Stephen F. Austin, can no longer tolerate the multitude of laws, statutes, injustices, and extortions of the current government. Austin fought against the Santa Anna controlled Mexican government; became a political prisoner for his beliefs in Mexico City; just to end the injustices of the government against the people of Texas. Does Texas still have statesmen who will stand up for what is right and against injustice? Can you help spread the message of the re-formation of the Republic of Texas? Can we as a people and a nation, once again, show the world that kind of resolve and personal fortitude for freedom?
