Ok here is my dilemma. My house is a very laid back and open house. My daughters friends like to come hang out here and they all call me mom. I have set certain rules and if they don't abide by them they are not welcome. So far they are all obeying the rules. They like it here mainly I think because I listen to them. They come to me with questions ranging from sex to school work etc. My concern is that I have one teenager that ran away from home and my home is always open. But the parent is very abusive physically and mentally. I don't really want her to go home but she has no where else to go and no one else to turn to.
My question is this, Do I allow her to stay here and teach her and be a mother she didn't have or do I call the cops and report her as a runaway and take the chance of her going somewhere unpleasant? |
