Thank you. Yep two simple words meaning a lot but yet somehow they have been tossed to the scrap heap more often than not these days on this website.This is supposed to be a social website whereby being social with others on here requires a certain amount of manners.Some people on here have sometime manners while others have full time manners while still others have none whatsoever.

One thing I've noticed on here over time is that some people on here when they receive bling from others,somehow feel no obligation to say thanks. Really? Listen, somebody spent real $ on you.You don't have to like the bling but at least acknowledge to the person who sent it that you got it.

I realize that people are busy. People have lives outside of here: which they should; and REAL LIFE trumps FUBAR always; but manners apply everywhere and without them, believe me the only person who suffers in the end is yourself !

Jeff Beck was a musicians musician.What does that mean? Jeff touched our souls and that's not easy to do to a musician but he did it to pretty much  all who were fortunate enough to hear him play. Unlike 95% of the worlds guitar players who use a pick on their picking hand, Jeff was old school and just used his fingers & thumb. He created magic from his work. Jeff, was what I would call a freelance studio musican whose boundaries were always subject to the next project before him and without limitatioons.Jeff could fit into any musical situation and make it work

You ask any Pro musician out there from any of your favorite bands and they will likely throw down the gauntlet of admiration and respect to Jeff by saying and agreeing that he was the best of the bunch. Jeff'had 4 standout albums. (1) Truth with Rod Stewart. (2) Beck,Bogart & Appice. (3) Blow by Blow and finally (4) Wired.. His incredible guitar work stands the test of time and genius.

Have you been to you tube and listened to Freeway Jam live with Vinny on drums and Tal on bass? Have you heard the same combo play live his classic" Cause We Ended As Lovers "? Oh he will touch your soul. You will be schooled musically about the importance that music must have something to say; not just something to show.

Jeff, God awaits your arrival to help round out the Heavenly band as musicans everywhere mourn your loss. Jeff, when you get there, let them have it!

Jeff Beck. There are many very good guitar players out there who have done some good things for so many of us players and listeniers.  As you likely know by now, I'm a fan of Ritchie Blackmore and Eddie Van Halen, Steve Vai, Joe Satriani etc etc.

While all of the above mentioned current icons still out there burning rubber, only one has ever touched my musical soul and that player is Jeff Beck.

My Mentor: Yes Ritchie Blackmore; swears to God himself that Jeff has notes on his guitar that Ritchie doesn't have on his guirar.He might have a point there. :). The different sounds he gets out his guitar that the rest of us can't seem to grasp are his and his alone. One thing for sure. He doesn't use a guirar pick. He uses the side of his thumb only and the rest flows from there.

I''m a rock guitarist/composer/instrumentalist and if money was no object and I could spend ONE day with ANY guitar player in the WORLD, who would that player be? Jeff Beck: Why? Cuz all of the aforesaid greats are still trying to figure out Jeff's work from months ago.

Make no mistake about it FU; Listen here  brother Page, Clapton, Hendrix, Steve Va, Eddie and too many others to name a few. U all play great but none of you offer quite the complete musical product Jeff Beck does but hey, that's just me.

One of the things seniors in Canada have going for them is the Canada Pension Plan. If you are 60+ years of age and were born here and worked for 40 years here, you can get an in on the early retirement.

Now in my case, I've led a corlorful life and I'm proud of it. I got to travel, I got to play my guitar and get well paid for it BUT I also came to realize that chasing the world class stage musically was not going to happen in the coventional manner I started out trying to reach for. So that said, I,like many others at that time,  had to stop following their dream and look at real life as it was which begged the question, where in the hell do I fit in?

After all the years passed, and all the dreams had been shattered, I turned 60+ and came to realize the best thing I could do for myself was to collect my early pension.

I did so and in short, my monthly CPP pension covers all but $50 of my rent. After that, I'm in a good spot but I also have health issues. A lot of them.

Medically, my heart is doomed. In laymans terms, musically speaking of course, the top half is playing speed metal such as Racer X while the bottom half is barely getting by with swing jazz.. Eventually whats going to happen is the whole thing is just going to give out.

My Dr of Internal Medicine referred me to a Cardiac clinic only to learn that the intake clinic is not taking any new patients. Really?

Story goes that the intake nurse does all the prescreening and administers all the hoops and hurdles but her ratio of admissions to the cardiac clinic is well below what the cardiac cliinics doctors get to help. Where does that leave me? Dying I guess.

Point is a friend of mine will eventually be contacting the Fu that I'm no longer with you so let's all try to get along between now and then !

Throughout my lifetime, I have discovered that both wild and domestic animals are ok with me being a part of their world. The horses seem content with me; the coyotes don't bother with me, the deer don't care nor do the bears as they seem somewhat indifferent to me, the racoons; ya well its a case of stay your distance and all is good and as for the skunks, I don't want to be their friend. They can have the street for all I care..

But fortunately in my lifetime, I have been lucky enough to be the proud owner of one domestic female Siamese cat and the benefactor of friendship and love of one pure bred Golden Retreiver.

So let's first talk about Alea. I have numerous pics of her to upload and will do so in the upcoming future.Alea, was a beautiful blue point Siamese cat. In the cat world, she was purebred with papers and had the most remarkable personality I have ever seen from any individual animal in  my lifeetime.

Alea took to whomever talked to her and I did; she became a flap. Yipping and yapping at me. Is it possible to understand cat language? I bellieve it is or at least was. She loved to talk to me. She would purr, sit on daddy's lap and fall asleep there and dream. She knew she was safe.Nodody would hurt her in daddy's lap and make no miistake, she was right.

Trust? I could take sleeping baby, putting her to the side, go for a pee, come back and put her back where she was and all was good with us both !!

Letting her go when God wanted her? Not a happy day at all in my life but I knew that day would come.

Brody the golden retriviever. Not my dog by default but he came to love me and wanted me to be with him as time passed.Brody was full of life and love and gave everything he had to offer with hugs and licks. Brody took to me like I was his own. As much as I  listened to him, he listened to me and made me a better person for his love and support. As time paased, Brody and I became  like owner and dog wiithout the title.

The hardest things in my animal lifetime I've had to do? Take my lovely cat to the vet for what became a bowel cancer diagnosis beyond her health and had to let her go..

As for Brody, I was getting the dump from a pawnshop gig I didn't care about, . How do you say goodbye to an animal you love? Well I called Brody over as he knew something was wrong. His head was tilted to one side and could tell by the vibe at hand that bad news was coming.

So I told Brody that I have to go now: I told him It would be a long time coming b4 I saw him again but in the meantime, please try and be good for Mom cuz the reason you are the way you are is because of her hard work

First off, you wife beaters disgust me. I'm putting this out there cuz like systemic racism, this practise of beating women needs to stop.

Think about this wife beater. Likely somewhere along the line, your son/daughter got to see you wailing the tar out of their own mother, you're wife.. Is this what you really you want anybody to see? Think hiding behind closed dorrs will save you? Not a chance wife beater. I mean, the reason your killing your wife or girlfriend slowly is because you likely saw your asshole Dad do that to your own Mother and you thought that was ok?. Well it's not.

A real man does not hit his wife or girlfirend. A real man is not concerned about controlling any actions in his life but his own and a real man would stick up for the average woman on the street being bullied or attacked cuz God would want it that way ! That's right;

Some Men will go all lengths to protect a woman they don't know in order to look good to both her and others until they get that same woman behind closed doors and then ......... ? Thankfully, most men aren't that way but the ones that are leave a lot of stains behind !

Ya women are confusing, sometimes annoying and sometimes they just piss everybody off but that doesn't mean they deserve abuse. Nobody deserves abuse; physical or verbal so to the wife beaters out there, on here possilbly,. Damn good thing I can't make time stand still for 30 minutes.cuz If I could, and get away with it, you would all be dead.

As a film buff, JB's work history is 2nd to none, Con Air, Top Gun, The Rock, Coyote Ugly, Enemy of the State, Beverrly Hils Cop, Days of Thunder too and on and on.

From there, he moved on to CSI Vegas, Miami and New York and now he's a co-owner of the new NHL franchise in Seattle.

Coyote Ugly. Likely the only tolerable chick/ guy flick he will ever produce. The chick part is obvious but the guy part, sexy women shaking their parts to likeable music in an easy listening forrmat on women who are easy on the eyes. Very smooth Jerry...very smooth indeed.

Hopefully your NHL team will one day hoist a Stanley Cup but for now, you are a terrific film maker

Since my status and so called private emails to others on here are monitored, I thought I would share a thought or two will you all.

Fubar claims to be a social website and to many on here, likely comes across that way. But Fubar is also a pay as you go popularity contest in many regards meaning it always seems to many of its patrons that all the same people are always the first ones; and often the only ones to level.

In short, the 60's level people have a devil of a time moving forward to the 70's level as do the 70's people moving forward whiie all the usual suspects apparently experience no difficutly moving forward to crown levels. I don't begrudge their work or their financial investement but lets be clear here it is a financial investment to level. The weekly challenges are another revenue stream for here and ya if you want to invest,  you will have to make things work out.

All the above said, my private emails should not be monitored by anybody simply because I won't pay Admin to bully me. This is  an not Al Capone era boys. This is 2020.. In short, what respectable company, internet or otherwise, employs volunteers to bully their own clients out of money or ask them to validate themselves for the sheer enjoyment of powertripping? In most real companies, you pick on the customers, you get fired: but  here, you get rewarded.

So my friends, I've been here 12-13 years...my reward for being here this long? My Fubuck meter runs backward and one person is responsible for that. My friends, family nor I are allowed to find game bling on each others profile. That same person is responsible for that.

So as I see it, every profile should be able to find and give and least one game bling during the course of a game bling run. Fubar managment believes its better to reward the women in general over the men by default and the only way to do that is to take from others in order to spoil  them.

Make no mistake about what goes on here. Its a popularity contest and even if you could afford to keep paying, you'll never win. Nobody will. You're not supposed to win. Sooner orr later, you will realize you have no chance at top level and those that are there will continue to stay there.

So somewhere along the line, you cut your losses and ignore the discrimation and favortism . You can't expect others to involve themselves either for fear that they too would become targets.

Now's there's 2020 cyberbullying dontcha think?

Hey Fu,

I'm 66+ and have been playing guitar since I was 11 years old. I'm a self taught guitar player. In short, I have learned and forgotten the better part of 1000 cover tunes. Some of these songs and their solos have permanent residenticy  in my memory banks. Most of the 1, 4,5 progressions don't.

While I have acknowledged Ritchie Blackmore from Deep Purple as my musical father, many others have contributed to my overall playing that too desrve acknowlegment. Who U say? Wow ! Mick Box Fron Uriah Heep, Steve Howe From Yes, Jeff Beck, Jimmy Page, Eric Clapton, BB King, Carlos Santana,Neal Schon, Kim Mitchell,Eddie, Steve Vai, Johnny Winter and I could go on but you get the idea.

How I play and why I play as I do is a blend of all the aforesaid. All of those people mentioned above are world class musicans who changed my thinking forever. In short, dont release it unless you are touching souls and kicking ass while doing so.
