I have a newborn son who was born on Oct. 17, 2008. He was 2 days late. I had to have a c section done due to my son beening breech.

I am enjoying motherhood so much. But it is honestly gonna be the only child I have ever. He was a blessing to me, that I thought would never happen. As I was told by doctors in 06 and 06 that I would never be able to have children. So he is my pride and joy and such a blessing to me to have.

You all might be asking how am I single and just had a baby. So, to be completely blunt, open, and honest. The father of my child and I had dated for 9 yrs. When I went to him and told him I was pregnant he dropped me like no tomorrow. He had wanted me to aboard the baby. And there was no way I was gonna do that. So for my whole pregnancy I was going it alone without him around and doing great about it. All I had asked from him was for him to spend time with the child after the child was born and just love the child. That I didn't want any help or money from him, just wanted him there for the child when the child needed him nothing more. Which he has done since the baby was born. He has spent alot of time with his son, just holding him and loving him. He and I are still friends even through we are not together as a couple anymore.

It makes me feel that sometimes ending up pregnant by mistake can work both ways. Somepeople it brings them closer together, and others it can tear them apart no matter how long they were together for. A child is no reason to stay together period.

I am a strong believer in friends first before anything. I also feel honesty is the best way no matter what. (even if it hurts someone feelings) I also feel that a person's word is their bond and that if you don;t have your word then you don't have sh*t.
