| Okay, since she HAD to bring it up... I'm sure I'll get a lot of shit for this, but here goes anyhow. I need some input on gastric bypass. Trust me when I say this is a last resort I'm thinking about. I don't over-eat, and I eat healthy. I don't like red meat or fried foods; if anything, I eat grilled chicken. I love fruits and vegetables and have completely cut out the soda. My sister and I exercise regularly at a gym. And yet I continue to gain weight. I've been battling this since I was a little kid and I'm just really sick of it. I'm sick of perfect strangers yelling shit at me as they drive down the street. It makes me cry to hear my son defending me to his friends when they call his mommy fat. I'm not asking to be super skinny, just healthy. I've researched the surgery, and I'm at the point of taking drastic measures. Any input? |
