In 2008 my husband was in Great Lakes and had his lower wisdom teeth out and when they took the one on the left they cut the nerve that tells u if u have something on the side of your mouth. So he cant feel if he has food on the left side of his mouth. Medical gave him Gabapentin (nerve medicine). Well in May/June when he was off at work they took out the upper wisdom teeth and he got an infection in his left cheek and they had to cut it open and put a tube in it so it would drain. Well mid January he left to work overseas and he went to medical and they informed him that they are thinking about having him have surgery to reconnect the nerve. If they dont try and reconnect it he faces having to take the gabapentin for life and possibly losing all feeling in his entire lower mouth. So my question is...
