| Okay fubar folk my dog Dakota who is about twelve years old and whom I love dearly, has been walking with a limp. I took him to the vet and they say he may have a torn ACL and needs surgery that will cost about three thousand dollars. I got him some meds in the meantime and he has been walking better and putting pressure on his leg recently. The vet said that he can live with this but they did recommend the surgery at some point; so my question is do I try to save up for the surgery, which may or may not work and could even leave him worse off, or do I keep giving him the meds and hope that rest and TLC will help him to live out his life in as much comfort as possible? |
