fubar rewards you by giving bonuses for when your friends join and use fubar - Up to 14,000 fuBucks and points per friend! Here's how it works: · You will get 1,000 fuBucks and points when your friend joins · You will get 1,000 fuBucks and points every day your invite uses fubar (up to 5 days; non-consecutive) · You will get 8,000 fuBucks and points when he or she posts an approved salute! If you can see your referral on your referral page, then they joined successfully, and you will receive all the points as stated above. We cannot track your fuBucks, so it is up for you to track your own point rewards as they come to you. If you do not see your referral on your join page, then it's likely that they did not join successfully under your invite, and their user error will not send you credit. This could have happened because they signed up on the same computer as you sent them the link or email from, or they were previously a fubar member. You also will not receive the referral points/fuBucks if you are frozen at level 5 or level 10 due to level up requirements at the time they joined.
Log into your account and go to your “profile” settings under the “My” drop down menu on the top left side of your homepage. Next, click on the “delete profile” link on the bottom left of your profile settings page. Due to security purposes, we will not delete your account upon request if the request comes from a third party address or user. If you wish to have an account deleted because it contains impersonated photos, you must file a DMCA. Also, if you’re not going to use the site for awhile, but you don’t want to lose all your points/levels/friends etc, just go into your profile settings page, and turn Email Alerts to OFF.
Email address: Your email can be changed by going to your Home Page and clicking on the “My” drop down menu and selecting “Profile” on the top left hand side of your page. From that page, enter your new email in the field for “signup email”. MAKE SURE you do NOT typo your new address. When you are done, scroll down to the bottom of the page where you will be asked to enter a code (Bouncer ID check) and click “submit” in order for your new settings to take place. Make sure you write down your new log in email. Password: Your password can be changed by going to your Home Page and clicking on the “My” drop down menu and selecting “Profile” on the top left hand side of your page. At the bottom of the left column, you will see a link that says “click here to change your password”. Click that and follow the prompts for the change to take place. Please write it down in a safe place. NEVER give out your password to anyone.
Some users are experiencing problems with viewing pages on fubar.com. If this is you, it's likely that you have recently upgraded to IE 7. The problem lies within your browser's ability to pull the content off of fubar and display it for you properly. If you have upgraded your browser recently to this version (which seemingly is having lots of issues), I suggest you remove the upgrade and continue with the past version of IE as it does not affect the display of fubar.com content. If you are still continuing to have these problems, please report it to a Bouncer via the Support Lounge where they can track the issue for us properly so we can fix anything that might be affecting it. -fubar Support Team

BLAST CONTENT

As a reminder to all users, especially those who create Blasts and users who plan to create Blasts in the future, please keep in mind these general guidelines to AVOID BLAST REJECTION WITHOUT REFUND: Blasts are intended for NON-COMMERCIAL usage. If you try to pimp a big business (and we'll be the judge of what constitutes a big business) the Blast will be rejected. Prohibited Content includes: -personal attacks on any fubar member -racist or otherwise abusive language -sexually suggestive language (includes words such as naughty, cum, spank, bite, rape, whore, XXX) -promotion of any NSFW content Please keep in mind that Blasts are intended to be a fun way to get a message out to the fubar community, and while we do not promote censorship, we also do not promote sexually suggestive and abusive content, and we will reject as necessary. This goes for Message Tickers as well.
Many of you are asking about 'unpaid' surveys. Here are some common questions and answers: Q: I have taken a lot of surveys in the past couple of weeks and have not received credit for them...why not? A: Please be aware that you are only to take each survey ONCE. Taking the same survey once a day for weeks will not credit you. In essence, this is like 'gaming' the survey companies. If it appears in your bar tab (which it should not), do not take it again unless you never completed it. The survey companies nor fubar will give you credit for repeated surveys. You can however complete offers more than once, but please be sure to hold on to your receipt, just as you would any other purchase, for proof of purchase through fubar. Q:Why are some of the surveys in my fuBank disappearing? A: If you find that completed surveys/offers are disappearing we ask that you clear your browsers cache and cookies. If that doesn't work, please consider: are they surveys you have taken before? Many times, our system will clear repeated surveys because you will not receive credit for them anyway. Also, if they are more than 4 months old without being approved because they were not completed, our system will also clear those. If you still cannot recover a survey you know you completed under the guidelines, you can send an email to Support with the survey in question along with proof of completion for credit. Q:I just took a survey and did not get credit! A: Please refer to the blue highlighted box in your fuBank. fubar must wait for the companies with which you took the survey to report to us a completion from you. This might take 2 or more days (check out approximate reporting time to find out per survey). If taken on a Friday or weekend day, reporting days will not take place until Monday, which means you likely will not get credit til the middle or end of the week. Please be patient. A completed survey will get you rewarded if done correctly! Q: Can I turn off the alerts in my bar tab for the surveys? A: No. Ever notice that your homepage and profile page is free of those annoying banner ads? As an alternative to advertisements in your way, fubar asks its members to complete surveys and offers in your spare time for extra fuBucks or other rewards to help us out. All of them are OPTIONAL and fubar does not require you to take them, however we do appreciate when you do! Otherwise, ignore them at your own free will because they aren't going anywhere. fubar wants to credit every member for completing surveys and offers because we really do appreciate your support. However, we ask that you do your part in taking them only once each and keeping any record of your completions (screen grabs and email confirmations are a great record!) so that we may be better able to assist you in receiving credit if an error occurs. Contrary to popular belief, you will NOT get reset if you and your spouse share a computer. The rumors are false...you can't believe everything you hear! However, fubar utilizes a fraud detection system that generates a daily report of all accounts that have fraudulently set up accounts under their own to generate points for themselves. This activity has increased since the 10K referral bonus, and fubar will not tolerate this. We call this CHEATING. If you have created fake accounts to generate points at any time under your own account, the system will reset your level, points, and fuBucks. This is not arguable, nor is it reversible. If you choose to cheat...don't be upset when you get caught. Please, we urge you to play fairly and by the rulebook.
