Archery is an art of using a bow and an arrow. It has been practiced since our ancient age. It was used  by our ancestors . Our ancestors mainly used archery for his survival but today archery is being practiced just as a game. Archery was very important in older days as it was a tool of utilization which was used either to hunt animals or birds. Hunting was performed for food purpose and for survival. Hunting was also performed to protect themselves against dangerous animals like lion , tiger, fox , cheetah, wolf, and many other carnivorous animals , which could kill and eat humans. Also since the laws have been passed to protect and save the animals, archery is not being used even to kill animals. So today archery is being practiced only as a competitive game.
