Take a trip into my world, and maybe it will inspire you to save a little boy or girl.. This life is not for the faint of heart, and you are in the script before you learn your part.. I was young when I fired my first round, and all I wanted was to be down, but right from the start, there was divison in my heart.. I was quick to show what I got, and I had a damn good jump shot.. So I played the point guard for school after school, always trying to obey the golden rule.. but one day after the kennedy game my best friend got shot, and a lot of me died on that very spot.. and in my hood there is no such thing as evening the score, so that night I layed down two on the floor.. I don't remember exactly how I felt after that,but then the grind just became old hat.. I made money hand over fist, I was large and ghetto rich..Then I was a womanizer 24/7, and that is no way to get to heaven.. I made money off of all you can dream, and my status I was pure cream..I was no joke, and my hands never touched dope..My frst ride was a caddy dipped in goal, I never realized I had sold my soul.. I was killing my on people on a regular basis, because I had people to catch those cases.. but I know this might sound strange, but that part of my life I had to change.. I finally realized that the glory of the gun, is not meant for anyone.. so stop and think of what I am saying, and save someone else that is wha t I am praying.. there are to many of our children dying in the streets, and this black on black crime in the news is like cable all repeats.. So step up in your own hood, and show the children not the bad but the good..council the crackhead male or female, that hte road their on leads some where worst than hell.. let us all join together and look toward the light, no more killing let's keep it tight.. this is my word today and tomorrow, or I promise we are all headed for a world of sorrow
