What are you waiting for?

As the the games of the Rio Olympics have begun and the excitment is in the air. Last night in the opening ceremonies you can see that excitment in the athletes who representing their countries. Some countries big groups of athletes some small, but for group of athletes just being at the games is a very special moment.  Most of these atheletes in this group are not continders for a medal, they are simply are participating for the love of their sports. For your see this group of athletes arent representing their countries, they are without a country.

For the first time in olympic history, the IOC is reconizing these athletes as Olympic Refugees. They are givin a chance to participate under the Olympic Flag, otherwise they would not had the chance to be at the olympics. I speak for many as we appluad the IOC for allowing these athletes to make the Rio games, who otherwise would not be at the games due to their countries issues. To these athletes I wish nothing but the best for you, and happy your have a chance like any other athelete at the games. This is part of what the olympics are realy about.

Another myth bout me

In prior bloggs I have talked about myths and truths about me. Well it seems there are some people that are thinking that i am real life marriedm and I am here to settle this matter.

It is true that I WAS married for 3 years and 8 days when I lived in Vermont. reallity is I never been married since or after that. Any proof that I have been married other than the 1 time is totaly FALSE

Vets Day

Note: This is written the day before Vets Day

As we reflect on Vets Day, I honestly feel they are true role models. The men and women, both past and present put themselves on the line on a daily bases so we can enjoy our freedom, dispite at times its questioned if they should go to specific areas to combat. As a son of someone who was in the Navy and a Vietnam vet and knowing others who servednot only state side but seen combat as well, I have the up most respect for them.  In my opinion I think the government needs to show a lil more repsect for them.   There are 2 vets I miss very dearly, my father and Mr Lamb, who was not only a family friend, a hs teacher of my dads but a WW2 vet as well that been  in combat. Many times I often asked dad when were we going to see Mr Lamb due to the fact I loved hearing stories and knowing more about WW2, and the fact I heard dads stories on Nam to many times(LOL, all kidding aside some of the stories are very significant)

In closing,I just wanna say, to all service men and women who have served or currently serve, Thank You for what you in protecting us and making sure we have our freedom. God Bless and be safe Thank those who served our country
