She sits there alone in the dark. How come they didnt take ME to the park? She gets everythin, and I dont. Every week they buy her somethin nice. A new skirt, shoes..o0o0 how bout them earrings too? What do I get yall may wonder? "Oh could you start the blender!!!" No "Hi sweety, how are you?" No its..."GO GET ME MY SHOES!!!" She sits there and laughs at me. Too cute for her own being. How can she live like that. Shes just a spoiled lil BRAT Somtimes I wish I was like her But the world would be full of horror They say its favortism, and I think they are right They dont even say, "Goodnight." She gets candy and cakes, and money too All's I get is, "GO CLEAN YOUR ROOM!!!" I wish I was never born My sister says the same My parents are just like her...they are all the same I go to school, she has LOTS of friends What do I have...just me and a pen The other girls laugh at me..because she talks behind my back I dont care because its sophistication they lack I kinda wish they would get there faces slapped I know thats mean...but its the truth Sometimes I hate it when I go to school One day it will come When she has no friends to turn when its done My parents will finally see That favortitism is all a dream We will play together her and I And maybe go out for some pie Its my longest dream I've always had To be the child they never had

She stands there looking at herself in the mirror. People say shes fat, she needs to loose it all. But she knows whats deep w/in. "They dont see the real me." "All they see is a lil bit of fat, and that I have ugly skin." The mirror looks back at her body. They say, "You need a new hobby." "A new hobby?" "I'm a runner, what more do you want from me?" "Come on now, I dont want to be 103." "That is not me." "Why cant they see the real me?" All these other girls running around w/out no fat. They seem all happy because they have NO fat. Well I'm happy, but no one cares. "Hey Caren, why dont you take the stairs?" The mirror likes my body, it never told me to get a new hobby. "I dont care if no one cares." "Other girls can run around w/out fat." "Who gives a SHIT!!!"...and that is that.

Take my hand, we are in a crowded place, and wipe that look off your face. No more stories, no more games, I'm your father, and I'll take the reins. You cant be trusted, you tell lies, you like it when daddy cries. I love you lil darling, cant you see that? But somehow you went behind my back. The doctors will see you now, come on you have to get it out. I dont wanna live in an empty house. When you were lil, I tucked you in, and prayed that you will be safe w/in. You are all grown up, just look at you now. But I'm getting older, you are wearing me out. They said you will be fine, sometime to heal. Should we name her Abby or Lil? She looks so beautiful, just like you did. Hold my hand darling, I have a secret. Your not my daughter, your mother lied. She dropped you off while she cryed. She said, "Take care of her I'll be back." That was 16 years ago, and nothin back. I took care of you, I helped you grow. Now look at you, you turned into a hoe. I hate to say it about my lil girl. But you hurt me, and you must know. I'm sorry I had to tell you, it seemed the right time. Get some rest now, the doc's say you'll be just fine. "I'm sorry daddy, that I hurt you." "Please dont be mad, I'll get some help too." "After I get better, I'll go to a clinic, they have people there who've been stuck w/it." "No more stories, no more lies, it will be fine daddy" as she shut her eyes

She walks home from school that day, just thinking about her life. She said, "Kevin, no limo today, I dont need a ride!!!" She looks down at her wrists and wonders what she has done. She hurts inside. Why do i feel crappy, when everyone thinks I'm so happy? She has it all, popularity, good grades, cheerleader, & gym. But why cant no one see it w/in? She hurts inside, and yet she wonders why. She sees her boyfriend just in time. She walks up to him and he hits her. "You are so stupid, how could you?" "Im sorry Jason, I had to!!" She said she found a new man, someone better then him. One that doesnt hit her, when her life is bad w/in. "He loves me Jason, he even told me!!, I wanted to end my life, and do you know what he told me?" "Dont end your life sweety, nothin is worth it, put that knife down where you took it. Come w/me and all will be better now. Dont cry cause im here for you, and you know it. That Jason is only a fool, hes just a boy to drool. Stay w/me, I'm better than him. Unlock yourself from w/in."

She lays there in her room, rain pours from outside. She thinks how cool her life used to be, before her man left her aside. She crys at nights wishing he would come back for her. Wondering how he is doing. She has a grin on her face remembering the dates they shared, at clubs, parks, lakes. They shared it all, till one day she stole his heart away. Away went her other life, now he must pay. He must pay the damage he's caused, the hurt he made her feel, the nights shes slept w/out him beside her. All it went away, away in one day. To hear him laugh w/out her, makes her feel mad. They used to share it all. Now shes so sad. To which he musy pay, for all the hurt hes caused. She wraps up in a blanket, for which she is cold. The feeling w/out him beside her, no warmth from him to share. She used to have it all, now she feels so bare.
