The company I currently work for is contstantly changing. For instance for one month approximately I have been doing billing/collections from patients that visit our practice and been glad to receive a lot of praise for the job I have been doing. But there will eventually be another position in the pre-certification/insurance department and love that side of it too. I was asked by my boss and her boss today if I would really want to change. My thoughts are do I stay and keep the collections side up and running or move to a position that could also be good. 

Although I do enjoy my own little cubby but feel like a caged animal because there are window's that surround my little office (for safety reasons I'm sure) but would like to be back with a team again. I only receive a review once a year so this won't lose or gain me anymore funds until after I get my review in January.

I have a boyfriend but not sure he is into fubar as much as I am..oh well.

We're setting all kinds of records with our heat...and to believe someone could actually have started the wildfires we have experienced this weekend is horendous. Thank goodness for the rain we had last night.

Our dress code at work. Well, the casual Friday is gone. Now let me remind you I can wear cackies and a polo or scrubs (navy blue scrubs or polo) to work but they must be monogrammed which comes out of your pocket. So the company decided to change the logo of the company and also the colors too. Now we can within the next year change to gray, dark gray, black scrubs or polo's (white polo's only) so to me that's alright because I can wear comfort clothing. But I know some of those uniforms are pricey. Grr. One other thing to buy. At least there is a year to do it. 

Coming to a determination that not all dress codes mean the same thing when it's business casual. So us group of gals in our department was pulled into a quick meeting that our casual Friday was placed in jeopardy last week. One of the doc's got highly pissed about an un-named individual for the attire worn. It's funny cause I can think of one that has direct patient contact and blatently had her huge arm tattoo's showing. I don't mind seeing that but not sure I'd feel the same way if I was the patient. Does this type stuff offend you in a doctor's office? We may have our casual Friday's taken away because of this. I try to keep in mind if it's a question about it in mind, just don't do it. Oh well more to come I'm sure.

Hi there!

I'm really looking forward to meet my boyfriend for the first time. We've had our fair share of troubles. Although, I feel closer to him than I ever have before. I'm trying to think of things to do around my area. I want to go see a concert for my birthday that week. Maybe dinner with the family. Hang with some of my friends. Eat some great food, and just enjoy each other. I know I will be so nervous meeting him as he gets off that plane. Giggle city! But I want to show him the best time and thank goodness he's coming before we are in the 100+ days of heat. Going to enjoy some vacation time with a guy I love...can't be more excited. :)
